1. What we collect
OCRtoText operates without accounts. When you use the tool, we receive the document you submit (a photo, screenshot, or PDF) solely to perform the text extraction you requested. We do not ask for your name or email address.
2. How your document is used
Your document is processed by our conversion service and the recognized text is returned to your browser. The document is deleted from the processing system immediately after conversion, and in any case within 10 minutes. We do not train models on your documents, and we do not sell, share, or otherwise reuse their content.
3. What we store
To prevent abuse of the free service, we keep a limited technical record of usage (an anonymized device or network identifier and a daily usage count). This record contains no document content and is used only to enforce the free usage limit.
4. Cookies and analytics
We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to understand aggregate page usage. We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not share analytics data with advertising networks.
5. Third parties
Document processing is performed by our backend infrastructure provider. Documents are transmitted over encrypted connections and processed in ephemeral, isolated environments; no third party retains your document content.
6. Your rights
